Yep. One common cause is that your battery is slowly starting to die on 
you. One temporary work-around is to turn the lights off while cranking. 
For me, that produced enough of a difference to start the bike until I 
could replace the battery.

Other causes include the kill switch, ignition switch, neutral kill 
switch and worn ignition cables. Also check the spark plug electrode gaps.
