Problems:
The bike was a basket case when I got it. Currently undergoing top-end work. I did a complete top end re-build in 1998-99 but it thre the cam chain 3,000 miles later. As soon as the bent valves are replaced, I will replace the cam chain and put her back together. Other work included a new fuse box and front and rear brake re-builds.

Comments:
Like trying to restore the dead, but I'm getting there. Rode her to Sturgis in 1998 and she behaved ok.... but that trip led me to deciding to rebuild her. Now she is apart again. I forged a bond with this machine, so I will not give up on her... but time and money will make it a slow process.

Runs great, Needs mufflers. Speedo stopped at 46,000. Header pipes have some rust. Recently removed the fairing and hard bags. Replaced the seat. Master cylinder needs to be rebuilt. Not much front brake action, but I ride every day at highway speeds (5,000 rpm+).
